EMBARGO: The 2016 Conquer the Crossroads Rogaine course is EMBARGOED effective January 20th, 2016. This means that all portions of Morgan Monroe State Forest are OFF LIMITS to all eventual competitors whether they are currently registered or not! Embargo will be in effect through Saturday April 9th, 2016. This embargo is being imposed in order to provide the most "level playing field" for all teams. Please respect the spirit of this rule. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@indyo.org.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL NEED THE WAIVER FORM FOR EACH TEAM MEMBER! Bring them with you the morning of the event. Thanks!
TRAFFIC/CONSTRUCTION: There is a lot of construction on I-65 and Highway 37 south of Indy. It shouldn’t affect early morning travel that much, but it would be prudent to allow some extra time.
CAMPING: There is camping available near the start at Oak Ridge and Mason Ridge campgrounds. See DNR’s website for details.
PARKING: Parking next to the shelter is limited to event volunteers. Teams should park in the lot up the hill or along the road down to the shelter. Rogaine teams are encouraged to carpool.
WATER: The taps in the campgrounds are still off. Teams should plan on carrying their own water for the entire course.
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED: Event Director Frank Baukert can still use some help during the day on Saturday, especially in the morning and afternoon manning the race HQ. Volunteers wouldn’t have to stay the entire day. Also, more help picking up controls would be greatly appreciated. If you can lend a hand for any length of time, please contact Frank directly at 317-709-6591 as soon as possible.
