Event: Standard Meet. What happens at a standard meet?
Date: Saturday, November 5th, 2010
Location: Yellowwood State Forest Shelter, South-East corner of the lake. Directions
Time Schedule: (Bloomington is on Eastern Time)
10:00am -- Registration opens, courses open for starts
10:30am-- Beginner Clinic
1:00pm-- Courses closed to starts (no more starts after 12pm)
4:00pm -- Course closed, control pickup begins. Must be off the course by 3pm!
***Please note that this is a large and rugged property, if you are planning on the green or blue course show up early as you MUST be off the course by 4PM! This is a safety precaution so please PLEASE cooperate with the club. We want you to enjoy your time out on the course, but we also want to make sure that our volunteers aren't out late waiting for participants to finish up. Thanks!***
Courses: White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue. What do the course colors mean?
Skill Levels: All skill levels. The blue course should be quite challenging but doable.
Registration: Individuals or teams may either sign up for any course. We suggest group size of less than 5 whenever possible.
Fees: The meet fee is $5.00/person for a member of any USOF-chartered O-club. The fee is $15.00 for a non-member. The fee includes one map, one punch card, and one clue sheet. For small groups, additional maps may be purchased for $2.00 each. Your registration fee allows you to run as many courses as you like in the time allowed.
