Volunteer Call-out for Hoosier Outdoor Experience

We are in need of volunteers to help us staff our booth at the DNR's Hoosier Outdoor Experience event, coming up on 20-21 September. This event is our biggest single outreach to the general public, where we talk about the club and the sport, and invite folks to try a simple 3-4 control orienteering course that we set up at the event.

It is very easy to volunteer - you only need to be able to speak generally about the sport to folks who visit the booth, and be able to talk about the map of the area and get them started on the sample course if they so choose.

The event is open from 10am-6pm both days, so the more volunteers we have, the more "shifts" we can set up to spread the job around. Please contact info@indyo.org ASAP if you can help (and the times you could help), so we can set up a schedule. Thank you!
