7/30 Southwestway Park meet postponed!!

We will unfortunately be postponing our meet schedule for this Saturday.  Among other things, we've not been able to get all the new trail work updated on the map yet.  Trails have been getting updated and added frequently over the past year (including some additional trail work taking place this Tuesday!) so our map has quickly become quite outdated.

On the upside, you all will not have to contend with the heat, bugs and/or thunderstorms.  (Who knows which we will be getting this weekend.)

However, if you are still interested in getting out and doing some navigation this weekend please feel free to offer your services with some of the aforementioned map work.  Although some navigation experience is definitely helpful you do NOT have to be a pro to help us update our maps.  Updating maps is even better than course setting for taking your orienteering skills to the next level.  If you're interested contact Jerry Lyons at jlyons@indyo.org.

Our apologies for the change to the schedule and we'll keep you posted on the reschedule date.

Don't forget about our Paddle-O coming up on August 20th.  We'll be doing our annual elections (more details on this soon) at the meet along with our annual meeting so please come out and enjoy some time with your fellow club members.  If you're interested in helping out with the meet just shoot us an email at info@indyo.org.
